PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The HOT-STOP Fireproof Pouch is manufactured using a proprietary fabric that has a metalized Mylar facing laminated to one side. The base fabric, which is HOT-STOP "L" is capable of withstanding continuous temperatures of 1200F with a melting point of 2080F. The metalized laminate is an extremely efficient radiator of heat and will reflect 95% of the radiant heat it is
exposed to.
The HOT-STOP pouches are sewn flat and will expand to accept a 3" stack of 81/2" x 11" documents. The pouches are large enough to accept a variety of personal, legal and business items in need of fire protection. Eg. Share certificates, wills, jewelry, computer back-up discs, cash, family photographs, birth/death certificates, and other valuables.
This same fabric is used to produce fireproof rescue bags which are used during specialized downed firefighter rescue operations.

CARE & HANDLING:
Pouches should not be machine washed or dry cleaned. Exterior can be
wiped clean with soapy water.
